A. Robert
A. Robert Champagne has 68 parcels stretching from the Marne Valley to the Côte des Blancs. Many of the plots have Premier Cru status. From Fossoy to Vertus, they cultivate, nurture and love each terroir. Each place has its own character, its own identity, its own singularity.
When the blend is to be composed, harmony and balance are sought - for this they use their large collection of reserve wines, which have also been aged in oak casks. From there the wine becomes Champagne. However, they have to be patient; the bottles must age - sometimes for more than 10 years.
Only when time has done its work is it time to wake up the champagne to make it ready to share.

Behind Blanc de Blanc champagne
Blanc de Blancs means, translated from French, white on the white (green grapes).
Of course, you make white wine from green grapes, but in the vast majority of Champagnes, you mainly use blue grapes to make Champagne, so when the producers choose to make a Champagne from only the permitted green grape Chardonnay, you call it a Blanc de Blancs Champagne.

The proportion of grapes from Bollinger's own 1st Cru and Grand Cru fields is extremely high in the wines.

Los Danzantes is located in Santiago Matatlán in the state of Oaxaca. Here, Karina Abad and Joel Antonio produce mezcal with a focus on traditional craftsmanship. The brand and distillery are named after the approximately 300 stone reliefs found in the ancient city of Monte Alban, which depict a series of figures in strange poses. At first glance, it seemed to the discoverers that they were dancing, which is why they got the name ("the dancing ones"), but today the interpretation of the images is more gloomy. Now the figures are believed to be killed and mutilated prisoners. Phew!

Vintage Champagne
Vintage Champagne is a variant of Champagne that most producers make when the harvest has been of extra good quality, and you therefore make a Champagne exclusively from grape material from a specific vintage or vintage.
Some producers such as Dom Perignon only make Vintage Champagnes, and thus do not make a normal standard cuvee , or a Non Vintage Champagne. Vintage Champagne is usually left on its sediment for a longer time before decoration , which is why, among other things, it is stored for more years than ordinary Champagne.
