Full and enveloping, round and creamy, sweet and voluptuous... this is a particularly exquisite release of Dom Pérignon Rosé. With dominant fruit flavors and aromas, it is a true embodiment of the 2009 harvest, and a vintage not to be missed.
Collected from full-bodied, ripe and rich grapes that benefited from a warm, dry and sunny summer, then transformed for almost 12 years in the cellar, it shows all the aromatic nuances of pinot noir (raspberries, figs, strawberries and cherries) and delicacy, mineral elegance and light notes of chardonnay.

The weather: 2009 was initially a difficult year with a mild and rainy spring. The threat of powdery mildew was high and storms in July raised further fears for the health of the grapes. But a warm August with uninterrupted dry weather was the catalyst for an idyllic harvest. Picking started on September 12 in perfect conditions.

Powerful cherry fruit on the nose, emphasizing black instead of the typical red berry notes. In addition, we find notes of apricot jam, blood orange and stone fruit on top of the deep, softly spiced core. The taste is also full of fruit. A big, bold and immediately expressive Dom Pérignon, which has a lot of character in it. I look forward to seeing the path it takes with further aging, a wild Champagne full of personality.
