Description:
Dr. Henrik Harpestreng (1164 – 1244 AD) from Roskilde was physician to the medieval Danish king, Erik Plovpenning. Dr. Harpestreng served his own elixirs to the king and often used ingredients such as juniper, angelica root, urtica, serpentina and other gin plants. From his book Liber Herbarum comes the recipe for this gin, and perhaps Dr. Was Harpestreng really the world's first gin producer?
It is a well-balanced London Dry Gin type with juniper and subtle citrus, followed by herbal and perfume, tea notes and a hint of licorice.

About Vintre Møller:
Vintre Møller Destilleri is located in an old brewery in Midtsjælland, next to an older watermill that has produced flour, clothes, beer and other fine products since 1374. Grain and plant products are harvested from the land around the distillery, and products are produced on site exclusively by using water from own well. The area is nature protected and the goal is to be as sustainable as possible, i.e. no pesticides or fertilizers, and organically grown botanicals and green energy are used in the process.
