Altos del Plata is a series of fruity, fresh and lively wines from the winery Terrazas de los Andes in Argentina. The wines are each an expression of a specific grape variety, grown at its ideal altitude at the foot of the "Cordon del Plata", a sub-region of the Andes. The wines are named after the silvery peaks of the mountains.

Terrazas de los Andes Malbec Organic is full of aromatic intensity, is fresh and fruity. Combining mountain grapes from the Uco Valley with grapes from the highest terroirs of Las Compuertas in Luján de Cuyo, this wine is the flagship of the producer's Malbec wines. On the nose it is fresh and intense with notes of black and red fruits such as blackberry, plum and strawberry. Floral character with aromas of violets and mountain spices typical of Malbec in cold climates. This mixed with red and black fruit notes and subtle hints of chocolate, delicate toasty notes and aromas of tobacco from well-integrated oak. On the palate this Malbec is lively and the mouthfeel is fresh and polished with good tension and length.
