Before tequila was a drink, 200,000 years ago there was a volcano named Tequila. It gave fertility to the soil in the Jalisco region of Mexico. Today, at the base of this volcano, Volcan de mi Tierra makes unique Tequilas that maintain traditional processes and continuously innovate to express the best of what Tequila can offer. XA is their ultimate expression.
Volcan XA innovates by reinventing the "Art of Aging and Blending" and with their unique collection of Aged (Reposado), Extra-Aged (Añejo) and Ultra-Aged (Extra Añejo) tequilas.
It consists of:
Tequila Reposado: Grace barrel
Tequila Anejo: Blend between American and European oak
Tequila Extra Anejo: American oak
In the aroma, XA reveals a perfect balance between cooked blue agave, hints of spices and sweet aromas such as notes of vanilla, caramel and dried fruits.
On the palate, the Reposado base brings the right level of sweetness and smoothness, while the Añejo and Extra Añejo add aromatic elegance and complexity.
