Little by little, the whiskey matures, which softens the fiery taste, and the whiskey acquires an unusually soft character. A careful and time-consuming process which guarantees that this whiskey reaches its perfection. Highland Park Single Malt 12 year whiskey has a glowing amber color. 15 years: Highland Park 15 yo Viking Heart single malt whiskey is created by Highland Park's master blender Gordon Motion, who with the combination of new and old casks and a patient, slow maturation over 15 years has created a pearl of a single malt whisky. The scent is warm cinnamon, soft heather peat smoke from Orkney, vanilla and shortbread. Highland Park 15 yo Viking Heart single malt whiskey taste contains fruity notes of sun-ripened lemon peel, fresh pineapple and heather honey, finishing with balanced peat smoke. The color is slightly golden and clear and comes naturally from the barrels. 44%- 70 cl.
