Champagne "Charlie" is a tribute to the founder Charles Heidsieck. The wine is only made in exceptional vintages, from specially selected grapes from the absolute best parcels.
The main share of grapes is harvested from Grand Cru Aÿ, and always contains large amounts of "reserve" wine from their deep cellar - often up to 80-90%.
Blended is Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and the wine possesses incredible concentration and complexity. A truly immortal Champagne that is in the exclusive club of Champagnes that have received the magical 100P!
The wine is made on an extremely limited scale and sold via tight allocations worldwide.
