Vintage Champagne

Vintage Champagne is a variant of Champagne that most producers make when the harvest has been of extra good quality, and Champagne is therefore made exclusively from grape material from a specific year or vintage.
Some producers like Dom Perignon only make Vintage Champagnes, and thus do not make a normal standard cuvee, or a Non Vintage Champagne. Vintage Champagnes often lie on their lees for a longer time before decoction , and are therefore stored for more years than regular Champagne.
