Great flavor from the blue grapes
The predominance of Pinot Noir (50%), made exclusively from grapes selected from the Grand Cru and Premier Cru villages, gives the structure that is so typical of Clicquot. Chardonnay (30%) brings the elegance and finesse of a perfectly balanced wine, while a small percentage of Pinot Meunier (20%) rounds off the blend.
The Vintage Rosé 2015 blend is made with 13% red wine, exclusively from Pinot Noir of Bouzy.
Veuve Clicquot's Vintage collection is unique for its use of wines vinified and aged in large oak barrels (10%), which adds strength and aromatic intensity. The barrel-aged wines bring an added complexity with their spicy notes and subtle roasted coffee and roasted aromas.
