A. Robert Ancrages Blanc de Blancs Brut NV 75 cl.

€58,95
Build your wine cellar or trade for the party:

€50,10 per bottle when purchasing 6 bottles

Ancrages Brut Blanc de Blancs has a yellow to slightly golden color. The nose suggests grapefruits, lemon and apple with many floral touches and notes of toasted bread. It has a lovely fresh taste with notes of honey and dried fruit, and it is well-balanced, refined and fine. Brut Blanc has an elegant composition. The taste is magnificent and with lots of freshness. This champagne is only released after an extended maturation period (the normal maturation period is a minimum of four years) in A. Robert's cellar. It helps that its fragrance can develop fully.

It is made from 100% Chardonnay and 30% reserve wines from the two most recent vintages.

The clarity of the Chardonnay grape comes to the fore in this extraordinary Chardonnay blend, which originates mainly from the Vertus area. The chalk subsoil, which is typical of the Vertus area, gives the wine its finesse, freshness and elegance.

It is lively, well-balanced and delicate. Brut Blanc de Blancs is at its best when accompanied by oysters or a seafood platter. For lovers of local dishes, it will also bring a welcome freshness to a white truffle risotto.

A. Robert Ancrages Blanc de Blancs Brut NV 75 cl.

A. Robert is a family-owned champagne house that has been growing champagne in the area of Fossoy on the slopes of the Marne valley for 300 years

A. Robert Estate has achieved HEV (High Environmental Value) level three certificate, which is the highest level. It is an official predicate issued by the "Grenelle de l'environnement" (QANGO), which measures the current results in four areas: biological diversity, fertilizers, pest control and water management.

All champagnes from A. Robert are stored for a minimum of four years in the bottle and several of them for many more years before being released from the wine cellar. They use both stainless steel tanks and oak barrels for storage. Oak casks add more complexity to the champagne.

On the left side of each bottle there are three pieces of information about it: the year of bottling, the time of disgorging and the dosage (how sweet it is). It is quite unique for the Champagne area, as there are not really other producers that offer the same information.

A. Robert himself owns their vineyards. In this way, they have control over all parts of the process.
