Blanc de Blancs means that the champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay. Vintage 2017 has been aged for five years on the lees. Dosage: 9 g per liter.
This vintage 2017 is a harmonious, beautiful and lively Blanc de Blancs. Light, clear nuances in a truly elegant champagne, which opens with a feminine and mineral scent that develops towards notes of verbena, ripe white fruit and dried white flowers. On the palate, the champagne is both powerful and complex, with notes of orange peel and lemon.
The grapes for this champagne come from some of the finest Chardonnay vineyards in Champagne.
45% comes from Avize. Chardonnay from Avize contributes fruitiness and aromatic subtlety.
35% comes from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Chardonnay from here gives structure to the champagne
10% Chardonnay from Villers-Marmery, contributes a flavorful touch of terroir.
The last 10% comes from Oger, Cramant, Chouilly.
Deutz Vintage Blanc de Blancs is suitable for an aperitif, but also has enough body to match seafood and fish dishes such as grilled salmon and tuna.
Champagne Deutz has approximately 300 hectares, of which 46 hectares are directly owned or cultivated.
