When Madame Clicquot created the world's first vintage champagne in 1810, she made history. Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2015 marks the house's 67th vintage and is yet another strong testament to the house's dedication to quality, aging and character.

A powerful and complex rosé:
This vintage rosé is based on 50% Pinot Noir – exclusively from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards – which adds structure and depth. Chardonnay (30%) contributes finesse and freshness, while Pinot Meunier (20%) provides roundness and balance. The rosé expression is achieved through the addition of 13% still red wine from Pinot Noir grapes in Bouzy – an area known for its powerful and aromatic style.

Stored with care:
11% of the wine is vinified and matured in large oak barrels, which highlights the spicy nuances and adds depth to the aromas. The result is a rosé with exquisite complexity, structure and intensity.

Flavor profile:
The nose opens with floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom, accompanied by fresh yuzu and mandarin. In the mouth the wine unfolds with layers of blueberries, dried dates, apricot, saffron, aniseed sweetness and crispy brioche. The deep rosé color signals the wine's rich character and aromatic strength.
